Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland is the first hotel in Japan to receive entry into the Small Luxury Hotels of the World™. We have a total of 70 rooms. Since the publication of the Michelin Guide Kansai, it has continued to win “4 Red Pavilion,” the highest rating in the Kobe hotel division. Every room is equipped with an ocean view terrace, and from these 70㎡+ rooms, guests can relax and enjoy a sweeping view of the beautiful scenery of the Port of Kobe embraced by the sea breeze.Our name “La Suite” refers to musical suites, as the entirety of the building plays elegant melodies that echo in the heart, providing an atmosphere of utmost tranquility.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) have a presence in 80 countries, with over 520 modestly-sized, independently-spirited luxury hotels belonging to their collective.
The screening standards are strict and the most important are that the hotels are independent and have a small number of rooms. It is important that the hotels are able to satisfy guests in every aspect, from lodging, to dining, to service.
Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland brand have been chosen as the first hotel to join the SLH group. We were highly rated and we have been a member since May 2010.

Awarded by The Michelin Guide KOBE with an evaluation of 4 Red Pavilions
The Michelin Guide is a restaurant and hotel guidebook first published in 1900 by the French tire manufacturer Michelin. In the Kansai region, the Kyoto and Osaka version of the guidebook was launched in 2010. Kobe was added in the 2011 guide and since the publication, Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland has continued to win “4 Red Pavilion”.
“Red” denotes greater comfort, meaning that we have been evaluated as offering the highest grade of comfort. Ours is the highest ranking among the hotels in Kobe listed in the guide.Currently, the Michelin Guide Kobe 2016 can be viewed only on the Club Michelin fee-based website.
Now in its tenth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.
The award which is presented each spring recognizes a hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction and exceptional service. The certificate is based on the consistency in which the hotel earns great reviews from guests, and which are posted on TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site.
